This event occurred on September 17th, 2023, in Budapest inner city and was hosted by BAIS who partnered with Backpack Running – Random Act of Kindness to distribute food to those in need and engage in plogging (running + trash picking), in order to make a difference within the community.
Sandwiches, t-shirts, homemade cakes, and hygiene products, to name a few, were brought by the participants and handed out to the people on the street with the coordination of the Backpack running group. A larger donation of hygiene products and fruit was left at the Golgota shelter in the 7th district.
The whole group also got trash bags and gloves to collect as much garbage as possible while jogging from on location to the next.
