The Bulgarian Frisbee Federation (BFF) in collaboration with Champions Factory hosted in Sofia, Bulgaria, on the 21st of July 2023, a Sport & Ecology tournament in partnership with GETS Project, an European initiative aims to promote sustainability and environmental awareness through sport.
The event attracted more than 100 participants and spectators, who enjoyed a day of frisbee games, workshops, and activities related to environmental issues The tournament was organized in a way that minimized the environmental impact of the event, such as using reusable water bottles, recycling waste, and planting trees.
The participants also learned about the benefits of frisbee as a low-cost, low-emission, and inclusive sport that can foster social cohesion and physical well-being.
The event was a success in raising awareness and support for the cause of sport and ecology, as well as showcasing the talent and passion of the Bulgarian frisbee community.
